I could not be more fortunate than to join the ranks of Storybook Destinations in the fall of 2021! My love of all things Disney is deeply rooted in my very first trip to Walt Disney World for our high school senior trip. Since then, my wife Cindy and I have been to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, three cruises aboard Disney Cruise Line (Panama Canal, European Northern Capitals, and Eastern Caribbean), and are booked for an epic return to all four Walt Disney World parks combined with a long-awaited trip aboard the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, Halcyon! Our first trip aboard DCL’s newest addition to the fleet, the Disney WISH, is scheduled for next spring.

I married my soulmate, a real-world rocket scientist, nearly three decades ago, and we share a passion for travel and a love of Star Wars. Cindy has attended every Star Wars Celebration held in the US (10 to date) and I usually tag along – especially when they are held adjacent to the Disney theme parks in Anaheim and Orlando, but also at the convention center venues in Denver, Indianapolis and Chicago. We are both retired from the United States Air Force and very blessed to spend our summers in Colorado and our winters on the island of Maui with our Golden Retriever, Rey.

I am a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and The Travel Institute in addition to being a Travel Advisor for nine additional cruise lines. My personal cruising experience includes trips aboard Azamara, Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Virgin Voyages, with upcoming trips on AMA Waterways, Atlas Ocean Voyages, and MSC. I have extensive experience building custom travel itineraries. I owned and operated a fly-fishing destination travel company for eight years, and plan multi-week, land-based trips to Alaska, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and a 5-week African Safari and trip to the Seychelles for our 25th wedding anniversary. I recently planned a 20-day self-drive tour across New Zealand for a dear friend from college and her family.

I am a certified Sommelier, professionally trained private chef, advanced open water SCUBA diver, and FAA-licensed private pilot / UAS (drone) operator. I have visited all 50 states, and more than 50 countries across 6 continents … we cruise to Antarctica aboard Atlas Ocean Voyages World Traveler in 2024. I have visited all of the main Hawaiian Islands and we lived on both Oahu and Maui. Cindy and I love to whale watch, and I am an avid freshwater and saltwater fly fisherman and tennis player.
