I love Disney! I visited Walt Disney World a few times as a child but it wasn’t until I was an adult that I really understood how great it was. When my husband and I got married we decided to go to Walt Disney World on our honeymoon. It was his first trip and I loved planning it. At first, we thought it would be five years before we returned—it was two years. Soon after that we were planning trips every six months for just the two of us. Once our daughter was born the trips continued. She visited four times by the time she was two.

In 2018, now a family of four, we had the opportunity to move to Central Florida and to live where we can see the nightly fireworks. Our twice a year trips became weekly visits to the theme parks. The opportunity to see Walt Disney World throughout the year for so many festivals and events is amazing. My favorite time of year to be in the parks and resorts is the holidays, but there is something magical anytime you can visit. My children were still young when we moved here and I love watching them grow up visiting the parks, meeting the characters, and experiencing new rides as they get taller and their courage grows.

While I am now a Walt Disney World local, my family still does regular staycations at the resorts. I have stayed at nearly all of the resorts and have multiple favorites because each has different strengths and something new to offer.

In 2019, we sailed on Disney Cruise Line for the first time and loved it! It was a Very Merrytime Cruise and we quickly rebooked for a Star Wars Day at Sea Cruise for February 2020. We created such amazing memories on those trips with the characters and fun activities. Castaway Cay is our favorite part of any cruise. We have a lot more cruising adventures planned for the future.
