One day seasonally-priced tickets and multi-day ticket price increases are coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland tomorrow!
Disney has had seasonal pricing in effect on resorts for a very long time, and now we are about to see a similar system for 1-day park tickets at both theme parks.
Beginning on February 28th, calendars will be released that will denote each day as value, regular, or peak. As you may have guessed, value days will be the least expensive of the three.
1-day tickets will now also have an expiration; for tickets purchased on or after February 28th the expiration will be at the end of the following calendar year (so 1-day tickets purchased after 2/28 of 2016 will expire on 12/31/2017). If you have an unused, expired ticket, you may use the value of that ticket towards the purchase of a new one at current pricing.
Multi-day tickets will not be subject to the seasonal pricing, however, the cost of multi-day tickets will be increasing, as we’ve seen each year!
Tomorrow we will be able to share the 1-day seasonal pricing calendars with you!
