We’re celebrating eleven amazing years this month at Storybook Destinations, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks so much for letting us book your amazing adventures!

Speaking of amazing adventures, there are some big changes happening at Hollywood Studios! Construction on the new Monsters, Inc-themed land is ready to begin and progress walls will be installed by the end of March – so exciting! However, this also means that the Cast at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will serve their final Guests on May 10, 2025, and Muppet Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will have their final curtain call on June 7.

Guess who’s turning 50? Space Mountain! From its debut in 1975 to its holiday changes and international effect, Space Mountain is a cornerstone of Disney magic. Some fun facts:

  • Space Mountain is 183’ – just one foot shorter than the NASA space shuttle
  • Space Mountain is the longest-operating coaster in Florida
  • Space Mountain has two tracks – Alpha and Omega
  • Space Mountain is the first coaster fully operated by a computer
  • It would take 22 rides every day since Space Mountain opened to reach the moon!

The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is now available to purchase for all guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and select other hotels. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in a theme park and can be enjoyed at your leisure that day!

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts wraps up on February 24, and the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival returns from March 5 to June 2, 2025! There’s always something to celebrate at EPCOT!

Over at Disneyland, you can still celebrate the Lunar New Year Disney-style until February 16, 2025! You won’t want to miss all the festivities and delicious fare!

There are some exciting new additions coming to the Disneyland resorts:

  • The Napa Rose (Grand Californian) is taking it to the next level with a brand-new interior and outside patio! Napa Rose will temporarily close this spring and reopen Fall 2025.
  • This summer, a brand new Concierge Lounge will open at the Disneyland Hotel! The High Key Club will celebrate the music and sounds of Disneyland Park circa 1955 – we can’t wait!
  • Plans for a second Club Level lounge are underway at the Grand Californian, and they’ll soon begin refreshing all its guest rooms, including the Disney Vacation Club Villas.
  • At Pixar Place, plans have been revealed for two new themed signature suites – The Coco Suite and The Incredibles Suite!

Black History Month is being celebrated at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland this month! Vibrant artwork, guest appearances, delicious food, and more await!

We hope you’ve been following along as several of our agents have had the opportunity to explore the gorgeous new Disney Treasure! If you missed anything, check out Storybook Destinations posts and do a little cruise dreaming!

Disney Cruise Line recently announced that their luggage tags will feature a brand new format and each ship has color-coded tags. We’re fans!

There’s been a small gratuity increase for all Disney Cruise Line guests. The new recommended gratuity is $16.00 per person per night of the cruise (a $1.50 increase) on all sailings beginning January 23, 2025, and later. Guests who have already prepaid their gratuities for an upcoming sailing will not increase to the new pricing.
