Walt Disney World Resort has a new service providing expedited entry to theme park attractions – Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Offered in very limited quantities, it will give guests a one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available to guests staying at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort. Prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests visit, and it may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day.
The Candlelight Processional is returning to the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! Beginning November 29, guests can enjoy the story of Christmas through a stunning performance featuring a celebrity narrator, a mass choir of Disney cast members and young singers from the community, a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty. Showtimes this year will be 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:15 PM and will include a variety of celebrity narrators including Whoopi Goldberg, Brendan Fraser, Ralph Macchio, Gary Sinise, Neil Patrick Harris, Pat Sajak, Jodi Benson, and more!
Changes are coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The last day of operations for TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will be January 12, 2025.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for refurbishment beginning January 6, 2025, and will reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026!

This elevated holiday experience features a variety of premium loose-leaf teas, tea sandwiches, and delicately prepared treats that are sure to put guests in the spirit of the season! - Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel will host Mickey and his pals in their festive fashion for Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch from November 19, 2024 – January 1, 2025!
- At the Disneyland Hotel, guests won’t want to miss Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! This holly, jolly dining experience can be enjoyed November 19, 2024 – January 2, 2025, for breakfast, brunch or dinner!
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served to Disneyland Resort guests beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. Pricing is dynamic, and availability is limited.
At Disney Cruise Line, Adventure is calling! The Disney Adventure will begin its inaugural season in December 2025 in Singapore. Castaway Club members can secure an inaugural season spot as early as December 4, 2024, and bookings go on sale to the general public on December 10, 2024.
Disney Cruise Line has recently updated the recommended gratuities for Concierge guests to $23.50 per person per night of the cruise. It now includes the Concierge Lounge team, in addition to the stateroom host, assistant stateroom host, dining room server, dining room assistant server, and dining room head server.
