Disney announced today that they were extending the military discount at Walt Disney World and Disneyland through December 20, 2015 for tickets and December 23, 2015 for room discounts.
This is an extension of the current discount, not a renewal for 2016 yet. The ticket allotment has been bumped up to 12 tickets per military member from October 1, 2014 to December 20, 2015.
Tickets must be purchased by December 17, 2015 for Walt Disney World and December 18, 2015 for Disneyland.
We expect this means Disney will be moving to releasing the military discounts for a calendar year, unlike years past when the discount ended in September. This is great news for anyone who had a hard time finding room availability in the fall when the discounts were announced!
